Description
The Description field can be found on the SIM detail screen. You can use this field to attach any custom description (text field) to the SIM. The description can be used when searching for a specific SIM.
Examples of descriptions are:
- Device serial number
- Device IMEI number
- Person's name using the device
- Number plate of vehicle
Tags
The tag field is a way to group SIMs with one or more tags. This allows you to easily filter your SIM list to only view those SIMs that have the same tag.
Examples of tags would are:
- Project name
- Branch the SIM belongs to
- Geographic area deployed in
- Cost centre
- Customer company name
Spaces are not allowed in tags. To create tags with more than one word please use a dash (-) or underscore (_)
Eg: Cape-Town or Cape_Town
On the SIMs screen, you can filter by one or more Tags to only show those SIM that were tagged:
Bulk Tagging
You can add tags to many SIMs at once by using the bulk Actions tool.
On the SIMs screen, filter and select the SIMs you want to tag.
Click on the "Actions" button. Select "Add/Change Tags"
From here you can add or remove tags to all the SIM selected at once.
