If you'd like to group SIMs for you to identify the specific group of SIMs, there are are two options:
Using Tags
The tag field is a way to group SIMs with one or more tags. This allows you to easily filter your SIM list to only view those SIMs that have the same tag.
Examples of tags would are:
- Project name
- Branch the SIM belongs to
- Geographic area deployed in
- Cost centre
- Customer company name
More info on how Tags work here.
Using the SIM Description field
Every SIM has a unique (text) "Description" field that you can use to describe a specific SIM, or use to link to a group of SIMs. You can use the same description (or similar first potrion of the description) in the description field to later search and find specific groups of SIMs. Example: "Tracker/7676378", "Tracker/922343.
Using Rules
You can also attach SIMs to a rule or multiple rules in order to group them. To disable any automated recharging of SIMs, set the rule status to "Suspended".
