New Account - Where do I Start?

So you have activated your SIMcontrol service. Now what?

Follow these steps to get started with SIMcontrol:

1) Login to SIMcontrol.
2) Set up additional users (if required).

3) To order SIMs in South Africa, first upload your RICA documents under "Settings".

4) Make sure your account has some credit available. If not, make a payment. You can also request a pro-forma invoice for account top-up under Organisation → Proforma Invoice (Admin Users only).
5) Managed APN customers: Our Support team will reach out to set up a technical onboarding meeting.

Managed Prepaid and IoT Data Roaming customers:

6) Go to "Rules" and set up recharge rule(s). Learn more here.

7) Go to "SIMs" and start adding SIM(s). Learn more here.

8) If you would like to use the SIM immediately, click "SIM Actions / Recharge" to perform an immediate recharge. Otherwise, wait for the system to check the SIM balance during the next balance check cycle (Usage Rules) or for the next scheduled recharge rule to run. Depending on the network, this may take several hours.
