All data requests from a device must travel to the Private APN firewall over the mobile network.
Should the firewall block traffic that is not allowed by that SIMs' firewall policies, an error message is sent back to the device. Although this typically does not consumer much data (a few kb's), this exchange consumes some mobile APN data on the network.
Total data usage
Total data usage of a SIM includes blocked data usage + allowed data usage.
Therefore, the amount of allowed traffic shown on SIMcontrol will not tie up 100% with actual used mobile data.
