Clearing your Browser's Cookies and Cache

If you experience difficulties logging in to SIMcontrol, please try and clear your browser's cookies and cache.


It’s a good idea to clear cookies from your browser from time to time to help your computer run as fast and secure as possible. Note: Clearing browsing data will sign you out of most sites. There are additional options to clear cookies under the Advanced tab.

How to clear cookies in Google Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Edge:


Google Chrome

Open Google Chrome.

Then click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner of the window.

Next, click Settings.

Select Privacy and security. You will see this in the left sidebar. If you don’t see this option, try expanding your browser window by clicking the square icon in the top-right corner of the window.

Note: To quickly access this page, you can also paste chrome://settings/privacy into your address bar and hit Enter on your keyboard.


Next, click Clear browsing data.

Then check the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files. You can also delete your browsing history from this menu.

Click the Time Range box to select how much data you want to clear. You can clear all your cookies in Chrome by selecting All Time.

Finally, click Clear data.



Safari


Open Safari.

Then click Safari in the Apple Menu Bar. You will find this option in the top-left corner of your screen after you click the Safari browser window.

Next, select Settings.

Then go to the Privacy tab.

Next, click the Manage Website Data box.

Optionally, select the websites that you want to stay with cookies and Remove others manually

Click "Remove All" to delete all cookies, or search for "simcontrol"

Once you're finished, click the blue Done button


Microsoft Edge

On the top-right, click the three dots which represent Settings

On the left hand side locate Cookies and site permissions and choose it

Click on Manage and delete cookies and site data

Go to See all cookies and site data


Choose what you wish to clear (simcontrol only) or Remove all.
