My account has run out. How can I prevent this from happening?

SIMcontrol works on a pre-funding model. 


We pre-fund with the Telco networks, and you pre-fund with us. Simple! This means you have a daily view of your overall spend, with no chance of "bill shock" or surprises. It also means we can keep our fees low, as there is no credit risk built into the pricing. 


Payments to our FNB & ABSA are allocated automatically to your SIMcontrol account as they hit our bank account. If you are making payment from a different bank, select the "Immediate Payment" EFT option. You can also make payment via Credit Card. Payments can be made against a Pro-Forma invoice


To ensure your account is always funded and that you don't run out of account credit, here are some tips:  


Account Balance monitoring & Alerting:

There are a few ways that the account balance is communicated. 


- Online - The current live account balance is shown on the SIMcontrol platform under "Account".

- Email: Daily Account Activity Summary. 

This goes out to all users who have opted in to receive this.

- Email: Balance Threshold Alert

This is an e-mail alert that can trigger at any account level. 

- Email: Monthly Invoice 

Additional people (who are not users - like someone in accounts department) can also be added to this list.
