Outside of the core Telkom network, SIMs will roam on the Vodacom 2G/3G/LTE network. (When loading with Anynet & FreeMe bundles only)
"LTE" bundles will only roam on the core Telkom LTE network

Telkom SIMs need to be activated individually and by inserting the SIM in a handheld device.
Activate a Telkom SIM by dialing *101# two to three times and restarting the device until you receive a balance SMS confirmation message.
Flickswitch can supply and RICA Telkom SIMs in bulk. Lead times are typically 3 - 5 business days + shipping for small orders.
SIMs cannot be activated if RICA registration is not completed successfully.
Flickswitch can bulk register SIMs for RICA if supplied by us.
RICA Documents needed:
- Company letterhead with physical address and VAT registration number included
- Copy of a Directors ID
SIM Expiry (number recycling):
Telkom SIMs will expire after 90 days of no usage from the SIM.
If a SIM is only recharged but not used the SIM will expire and the number will be recycled.
Once a SIM is deleted and or expired and the number recycled the SIM needs to be discarded of as it can no longer be used.
